A rough start did nothing to dampen the spirits within our U11 Blue team this season, with Coach Pino D’Ambrosio telling us that he couldn’t be happier with the efforts and camaraderie on display with his young Eagles over the course of this year’s games and sessions
Coach Pino reports —
We started of the season with a few big losses but it was great to see the boys bounce right back with some equally strong efforts in training and the games.
In the end we saw some superb goals scored this year, Isaac bagging 5 goals, Hugo 2 goals, Luca 1 goal, Mason 1 goal and Zeke 1 goal.
I would like to highlight the following players especially for their contributions —
- Zac for excellent performance as goalkeeper all year
- Our solid fullbacks, Zeke, Oscar and Sawyer
- Rydar for his superb defence
- Linkin for overall top performance
We have been waiting for a win to come, but with a few games remaining I am confident our boys will get that win. I believe that we have excellent team, some great friends and the improvement has been noticeable — the boys have exceptional talent!
The U11 Blues are — Mason, Oscar, Rydar, Tyler, Hugo, Zeke, Zac, Luca, Sawyer, Linkin and Isaac
